Just days after NXT TakeOver: Portland, NXT, had another great showing Wednesday night. From Velveteen Dream defeating Roderick Strong to Bianca Belair issuing a challenge to Charlotte Flair, who attached both her, and the NXT women’s champion Rhea Ripley Sunday night, and accepting Ripley’s challenge to face her at WrestleMania 36.

It was a fun-filled night full of action.

Bianca Belair

Belair interrupted a match between Chelsea Green and Kayden Carter. She said she was going to let them finish their match, which she did.

She once again told Flair that she doesn’t even go here, but she wants her there now and wants to kick her ass!

It should be an entertaining match between those two. Belair is already a star, and her fighting Flair will make her an even bigger star.

Yes, we did see a triple threat match at last year’s WrestleMania. Still, the WWE should highly consider making this a triple threat match for the NXT women’s title with either Ripley retaining, or Belair winning it and prolonging this feud with Flair.

That seems pretty fair as Belair is starting to become a huge fan favorite, and getting the big push she deserves.

Dream defeats Strong

Dream comes back to NXT in his first match since returning from injury. Dream’s feud with Strong and the Undisputed Era has been going on for a while now.

It was a highly entertaining match between the two that saw Dream defeating Strong by pinfall. After the match, the rest of the Undisputed Era came and attacked Dream.

They would then pose over Dream, and that is how the show ends.

I would love to see Dream vs. Cole for the NXT title at some point down the line. It would be a very entertaining match between the two, and it could close out the feud between Dream and Cole.

Steel cage match announced!

The WWE has announced that in two weeks, there will be a steel cage match between Tegan Nox and Dakota Kai, who will be without Raquel Gonzalez in this match.

If you missed what happened at NXT TakeOver: Portland, Gonzalez interfered in the street fight match between Nox and Kai, which cost Nox the match.

I would love to see Nox pick up the victory in this match to prolong this feud with Kai.

This has been a very entertaining feud between the former best friends.

It will be interesting to see if Nox can find someone to put in her corner like Kai did with Gonzalez if this feud were to continue.

Overall, I give this episode of NXT a 3.5 out of 5 stars. The feud with Belair, Flair, and Ripley could take this show to bigger and better heights, and NXT seems like it needs Flair.

I hope those storylines continue to get better down the road, as we are on our way to WrestleMania.
