NXT had a fantastic show Wednesday night, where we witnessed a lot of great moments. One of the best moments of the night was between Charlotte Flair, NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley, and Bianca Belair.
It is evident in this feud Flair is the heel, and in my opinion, she needs to stay as a heel as she is at her best when in that character.
The star of the segment was Belair. She was great on the mic. She played the part of being overlooked very clear, especially when she wasn’t on the mic.
Flair was also celebrated during the segment per usual. You can tell when she is interested in a storyline and a feud. She plays the part as a villain very well.
Ripley also played her role very well, especially the part where she played shocked that Flair dissed Belair, and Ripley was clearly on Belair’s side. To Ripley’s point, it is true, she did not disrespect anyone on the Raw’s side when she came onto the show to confront Flair.
All in all, this was one of the best segments of night, and I wouldn’t mind a feud between the three. I wouldn’t mind a triple threat match at WrestleMania between them, especially if they have Flair DQ the match between Belair and Ripley at NXT TakeOver Portland.
Velveteen Dream hasn’t been seen in a couple of months due to an injury. However, he made his long-awaited return to NXT.
He returned when The Undisputed Era was putting a beat down on Tommaso Ciampa.
The Dream would then seemingly take out all four of the Undisputed Era members, and seemed to specifically go after Roderick Strong.
Is it possible that we could see a match between Dream and Strong at NXT TakeOver Portland?
That would be a really entertaining match and feud for Dream to start right back in, as it seems like everyone has their own issues and problems against the Undisputed Era.
I am very interested to see what the plans are for Dream are after his return to NXT, and to see what type of path he will take to win another title in NXT.
These two were the two most significant segments of the night for NXT. The two should do well for WWE in YouTube views.
All in all, those two segments came out on top for me for the show Wednesday night.
I want to see more of Flair back in NXT, as even though their division is stacked already, but adding Flair would do wonders for all the women in NXT, and they can learn from a true veteran.
Flair didn’t get a chance to accept Ripley’s challenge for WrestleMania yet, but I have a feeling that will be coming very soon.
There are a lot of dream matches with tons of potential Flair can have in NXT with a lot of the women in that division.
As far as for Dream, it is great to see him back and healthy and in the ring. He has been missed by a lot of the WWE Universe.
He is a very unique talent, and the sky is the limit for him, and I am very interested to see what it is in store for him going forward.
Overall, for the show, I would give it a 3.5 out of 5 stars.
